How dōTERRA changed my life
I discovered the power of essential oils first hand when my daughter began her multi-event athletics career and sustained a minor injury; despite physiotherapy and prescribed medication it did not seem to improve.
Having been introduced to dōTERRA by a friend, I decided to try dōTERRA’s amazing product, Deep Blue and WOW! She was back long jumping within
four weeks! I was convinced that the essential oils in Deep Blue –
Wintergreen, Camphor, Peppermint, Blue
Tansy, Chamomile, Helichrysum and Osmanthus –
were what made the difference. I became committed to the power of the product and was determined to bring these amazing oils and their life-changing properties to as many people as possible.
Back in 2015 I launched my wellness business, Oils by Jo, and I haven’t looked back since. Soon after, requests to try these incredible essential oils came flooding in from friends and family, and then from people who I had been recommended to who had been searching for a more natural way to combat health challenges, reduce stress, improve sleep or who simply wanted to surround themselves with the wonderful scent of their favourite essential oils. I am now well on my way to achieving top level success in my business and building a team of essential oil experts to support me. dōTERRA has provided me with a life-changing opportunity to build a significant business, whilst doing the most important job of all – being a great mum to my two daughters.
In supporting my youngest’s athletics dream, I see the immense power of dōTERRA when used in the sporting arena, both physiologically and psychologically, which has led me to train as a sports coach, as well as become a qualified therapist. My eldest daughter is a primary school teacher, so she is exposed to all sorts of bugs, daily. To keep her immune system boosted she diffuses OnGuard in the classroom blended with Lemon for a blast of freshness; she also uses Melaleuca to ward off any sore throat symptoms and Lavender at night for destressing and restful sleep.
I am truly passionate in sharing these health benefits and work hard to create awareness and events that can educate people about dōTERRA wellness, one drop at a time.
