With all of this uncertainty comes stress, anxiety and worry. With your children and partners being at home this can be a very stressful time for a number of families so I thought I would offer some information and support for you.

  • Try to keep to a routine and please remember you can only do what you can do.
  • A number of children will have been set school work via their school websites and email. So they don’t need much help just supervision and encouragement.
  • There are a few good apps and YouTube channels that you can search for mindfulness suggestions.
  • I suggest listening to calming music/sounds 30 minutes before bed.
  • Having a warm calming tea such as Chamomile 1 hour before bed.
  • Some people love to use the tapping method to calm and relax.
  • Read a book.
  • Do a jigsaw.
  • Cut down on social media and watching the TV news.
  • Clean out cupboards (done my filing cabinets today- phew!).
  • Try to go out for a walk together to get some fresh air and sunshine with or without the dog.
  • Try a new hobby.
  • Make a vision board of things you want to do before the end of 2020.
  • Learn a language (that’s what my daughter is doing).
  • Keep up your healthy eating routine with plenty of fruit and vegetables, take your vitamins and drink plenty of water.

It will be very difficult for most people to stay indoors especially for children and young adults and they may become bored and uninterested – the oil to support this is Passion. This is also good for anyone in this situation whether it is bored at work or a relationship.

There are a number of oils that can really support you at this time too:

Balance Essential OilPeppermint Essential OilsAnxiety Lavender Essential OilsBalance is a blend that can really support your whole body. Just add a drop onto your wrists when you feel anxious or overwhelmed.

StressedLavender is the calming oil. We also have Serenity which is a blend that is great for supporting you too.

Lack of energy – I have a super blend for you mix 1 drop of Peppermint and 2 drops of Wild Orange – amazing. You can add to your wrist or the back of your neck or even in a diffuser.

Lack of motivation – There is a blend called Motivation that is refreshing and fresh that would be amazing for you.

Loneliness – There is a blend called Cheer (its one of my favourites) and every time I use this I get a really love warm feeling.

Depression – There are a few oils that can really support your emotions. Frankincense is a great oil to support sad feelings. Wild Orange is another oil that can really lift your mood.
